This instrument made of ash wood reminds one of the Finnish archetype with its open gesture and a lemniscate in the centre.
The instrument has nine strings which can be tuned both to a diatonic or a pentatonic scale.
It can be played as in ancient times, resting on the knees or held in the hands.
